Step into the glow of the Holidays this year and listen. The Christmas story you know by heart is about to breathe, sing, and move all around you. CAPENESS’s immersive retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at Harwich’s 204 Theater, opens Nov 26th, and runs through Dec 20. This new adaptation unfolds by candlelight, where hundreds of flickering tapers, hand-held lanterns, and traveling torches illuminate Victorian London in glorious detail. Audiences are welcomed into a living storybook where scenes flow from shadow to shimmer, and the tales timeless themes of, kindness, redemption, and community, rise in a united chorus of human voice

Looking to start or reignite your painting practice?
The primer series is designed as 3-class sessions suitable for any level and all painting media. All are welcome from beginners who would like more structure and guidance to experienced painters looking for inspiration, challenge or new perspectives. The fun and fellowship are a side benefit for everyone!
Focus in the classes will be on finding your visual voice through composition,color and value. Students can work in their choice of any painting media: oil, acrylic, watercolor or pastel* and on canvas, panel or paper.
*(An absolute beginner? I can provide a “starter kit” of any media you wish to explore for an additional $15 fee.)

This one-day workshop is a hands-on introduction to the technique of white line woodblock printmaking, also known as "the Provincetown Print".
The history of the method and its invention in P-town in the early 1900's will be shared. Participants with then learn how to transfer their drawing, carve the block and create their own personal prints. Join us as we follow in the footsteps of a long line of artists who have embraced this uniquely Cape Cod method of creating.
*All tools and materials are provided. Students are asked only to bring along original, simple line drawings (think children's coloring book pages) approximately 6"x8"
