Day One - Sampler day is the perfect new or review for the versatile Westalee Sampler Set. We will cover basic set-up as needed, trouble-shooting typical problems and how to create many design options with your 6-piece Sampler Set. And we’ll have additional designs beyond the Janet Collins Book for returning/ experienced students, so everyone learns new designs. [If you have a long-arm and need to borrow a machine &/or rulers to take this class let me know.] Experienced ruler-work students could work on a project with teacher approval.
Day Two - Exploration Day – Great as a second day to learning the Basic sampler set. We'll start the class with Feathers, then students will work on any rulers they own, or they can borrow my open stock. This is a design workshop to learn the ruler designs, not to make a project. It’s very stress-free after the initial very structured Sampler Set day with all the new info. This encourages jumping into any ruler set I have open to see how easy they really are. Everyone gets so excited to try all these great rulers. Again, experienced ruler-work students could work on a project with teacher approval.
