Sewing fun for beginning sewers!
Girls and boys will enjoy sewing and creating with Miss Jane.
My sewing school program will introduce your student to the artful science of sewing. This fun and engaging program begins with basic sewing skills and progresses through the foundational techniques for novice sewists. Stitchology Sewing School is small in-person sewing classes limited to eight students per class
What your Child will Learn
Safety Practices: Students are socially distanced working at their own workstation and each has their own set of sewing tools to work with. All workstations are thoroughly cleaned after each class.

In this beginner class you'll learn how to use this versatile medium to express your creativity. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to paint with watercolors, regardless of prior experience. All materials are provided, so you can simply come and have fun.

Cape Cod Makers is engaged in promoting the Maker and DIY culture on Cape Cod. We do this through meetups, connecting local makers, hosting classes, group activities, promoting shared resources and maker spaces. There is an enormous amount of artistic and technical talent on Cape Cod in a wide variety of areas. Also, there are many people who like to learn new things and improve themselves. We are excited about the possibilities of bringing all these people together on and connecting ideas to grow the maker movement on Cape Cod.

A liquid paint is dropped on a soft acrylic plate. A brayer is used to spread the paint, then topped with paper and when pulled off it creates a one-of-a-kind print. No artistic creativity required! These prints can be used for greeting cards, photo backgrounds, scrapbooking and a variety of other creative uses. Class fee is $20.00

QUILLING (not Quilting)
The ancient art of Quilling, uses narrow strips of paper which are rolled, shaped and then glued together to form designs. Quilling students will learn to make basic shapes to form into various designs. Class fee is $30 with a separate materials fee

Accepting Interest
Artists, crafters, and anyone interested in exploring the intersection of textiles, mixed media, and visual art are welcome to join the exploration of mixed media embroidery, where traditional stitching techniques meet an array of materials to create stunning works of art. In this class, students will delve into the fusion of fabric, beads, sequins, and felt, learning how to combine them seamlessly to produce intricate and expressive designs. This class is suitable for beginners with no prior embroidery experience as well as intermediate embroiderers looking to expand their skills.
